The Global University Network of Traditional Medicine (GUNTM) is a multilateral, non-political academic network established in order to effectively promote Traditional East Asian Medicine. First formed in May 2009, the network is comprised of 7 leading Traditional Medicine (TM) universities representing six different countries.
The GUNTM is a platform whereupon international collaboration among recognized TM institutions in the areas of education, research, clinical practices and information exchange can take place. Additionally, it aims to promote active involvement of TM in the integrative health care system and maintain the welfare of the global community through an evidence-based approach.
